Case Details

Disease Location

Breast, bilateral

Personal Characteristics

49 year old woman

Clinical Characteristics

Proven carcinomas of both breasts. Frail, debilitated, and in pain. Her left breast was wooden and immovable on the chest wall and the skin over it was tight the right breast had large, wooden lumps in it and the nipple was retracted

Remission Characteristics

After ten weeks: - the left breast is still hard, with some soft patches developing under the surface. Freely movable on the chest wall, the skin was still tight, but very much less. - the nipple of the right breast is no longer retracted.
