Breast with metastases to other breast (1904) and to left and right axilla (1906) recurrence in first breast 13 months post-mastectomy nodules on clavicle and sternum

37-year-old female
Clinical Characteristics
The patient reported a lump in the right breast since april 1904 typical mammary scirrhus in the autumn of 1904. Carcinoma was diagnosed in october 1904. The tumor was removed some weeks later. 13 months later, the tumor recurred with involvement of both breasts. Alpha ray treatment was started. Clinical course progressed with cough and pleurisy. Thoracentesis was performed and blood-stained fluid was obtained.

By december 28th of 1906 the patient reached clinical remission
