Cavum september pellucidum (csp) pituitary gland (left anterior)

Personal Characteristics

36 -year-old male

Clinical Characteristics

Elevated prl level (19.9 ng/ml) with a small 2mm lesion on his left anterior pituitary gland. Csp cyst with lateral bowing of the septal walls to 1.9cm shown by MRI first MRI revealed a 2mm focal hypointensity in left anterior pituitary gland, was thought as a microadenoma no notable venous congestion or pressure gradient no mention of whether prolactin levels decreased or remained the same

Remission Characteristics

"15 months later, there was no more bowing and septal wall width was 1 cm. ""spontaneous decompression"" no visible fenestration of follow-up MRI"
