Clinical Characteristics
Admitted with sudden onset of right parietal lobe deficit with left homonymus hemianopia CT showed cerebral infarct electrocardiogram showed changes of a recent infarct & mobile pedunculated mass operation not undertaken & started on oral anticoagulation results of coagulation studies within normal limits & echocardiogram 3 mths later showed only old infarct
Remission Characteristics
Surgical removal of mass was planned 7 day later echocardiography before operation showed no evidence of left ventricular mass
