Clinical Characteristics
Acute myeloid leukemia with t(8;16) full-term female presented with blueberry muffin spots at birth biopsy revealed a diffuse dermal infiltration by immature hematopoietic cells and was diagnosed as myelosarcoma at day 10 the patient's marrow showed 32.8% leukemic blasts, a subset of leukemic blasts was weakly positive for mpo and others showed weak reactivity for nse, consistent with acute myeloid leukemia, m4 subtype cytogenetics showed 46, xx, t(8;16)(p11.2;p13.3)[20] patient was managed and monitored by peripheral blood counts, marrow studies, lumbar puncture and cytogenetics
Remission Characteristics
Skin lesion regressed in 4 weeks 4 months after initial diagnosis, sr was observed the patient has remained in complete remission for 11 months since initial diagnosis
