Personal Characteristics

46 years old woman without history of cardiovascular disease and no coronary risk factor

Clinical Characteristics

3 hours of rest crushing chest pain. 50% smooth stenosis in the proximal left anterior descending coronary. Intramural hematoma starting from the mid-lad up to its ostium. Mild lumen compromise and presence of nonobstructive atheroma. Spontaneous coronary dissection.

Remission Characteristics

After 3 months of medical therapy, patient showed an almost complete disappearance of intramural hematoma.

Clinical Treatment

Intracoronary ergonovine (32 ug). Aspirin, clopidrogel, nitrates and b-blockers.
