Clinical Characteristics

Typical, significant, long-standing angina pectoris.total cholesterol 224 mg/dl, triglycerides 54 mg/dl, fasting blood sugar 92 mg/dl.

Remission Characteristics

2 years after operation, the left main coronary artery stenosis of 50 to 60% had regressed to only 10%. Regression occurred in absence of antiatherosclerotic therapy.
