Abstract

The case of a 41-year-old man with Menetrier’s disease is presented who was first seen in 1964. With conservative treatment (without surgery) the hypoproteinemia remitted spontaneously and, to this date , there is still complete remission of symptoms. The triad of epigastric pain, x-ray evidence of large gastric folds, and hypoproteinemia should alert the clinician to this entity
