The authors report the case of a 58-year-old woman diagnosed with anaplastic adenocarcinoma of the colon and stomach at gastrectomy. At her death sixteen years later from bronchopneumonia, necropsy revealed no evidence of carcinoma.

Additional Notes
Diagnosed at the mass screening for gastric cancer. The histologic findings of the biopsy specimens were the same as those in cases 1 and 2. Upper gastrointestinal series showed no polypoid lesions in the duodenum and small intestine. Barium enema revealed no abnormalities.
